| During my mid-tour leave from Afghanistan, I decided
to come home to Dartmouth, and I just could not wait to
go to John's. After having great feed of fish, it was
just a little bit harder to go back to Afghanistan for 2
more months. |

| WOW! At John's lunch it is just THE
best seafood i have ever had!. We stopped at John's
lunch for dinner with our band who was participating the
Atlantic band festival going on. It was just wonderful.
The service was great and very caring staff. :) The food
was so good that I couldn't waste so i brought it home
and ate it later! The next time I am back in Halifax I definitely
will be stopping by John's Lunch. |

| I was born and raised in New York and
have lived in the Washington, D.C. area for just under
10 years now. I have eaten at some of the best seafood
places in both areas. I have never tasted seafood so
deliciously made as this. I love this food. As Arnold
would say, " I'll Be Back". Best to the

knew of John's Lunch way back when I worked in Halifax. Cannot get clams here other than from
Southeastern Asian countries....sure do miss fresh east
coast fish....especially clams! |

| Best fish and chips I have eaten in HRM...those
people who voted Fries and Co. "Best in
Halifax" know nothing of this secret. Love love
love the atmosphere; it feels so friendly and
neighbourly. I have been recommending it to everyone I
know. Go! You won't be
disappointed. |
